Keep your browser workspace out of supported screen shares.
Keep notes, reference pages, and web tools close while you present or work. ClearLayer asks supported Windows capture tools to omit its window, with capture exclusion enabled by default.
This is a browser simulation. Native capture exclusion runs in the Windows app and requests omission from supported Windows capture paths. Support varies by capture tool and setup; test your own sharing setup before relying on it.
A layer for the way you work
Keep something useful within reach.
Bring your own websites, notes, and tools. Use a compact workspace for everyday tasks, whether you are sharing your screen or working on your own.
01
Presentations & personal reference
Keep talking points and supporting pages beside the material you present.
02
AI & coding
Open an AI tool or documentation while you work through a programming problem.
03
Research & comparison
Place two sources side by side and check the details without switching windows.
04
Learning & translation
Keep a lesson, glossary, or translation page close as you study.
05
Interview preparation
Practice with your own question bank, preparation notes, and role research.
06
Dashboards & everyday work
Keep a useful dashboard, checklist, or web app available in a smaller layer.
A focused layer, not another heavy browser
Shape the window around the way you work.
Keep a compact browser workspace close at hand. Choose your layout, adjust the transparency, and open the websites that fit your work.
One or two panels
Start with one clean panel or add a second for comparison and reference. Each panel has independent navigation, with a shared WebView2 browser profile for cookies and sign-ins.
Adjustable transparency
Set the whole window from 35% to 100% opacity, with readable defaults and a fast path back to solid.
Capture exclusion control
Ask supported Windows capture tools to omit the app window. Keep it enabled by default or switch it off when you intentionally want to share ClearLayer.
Useful window controls
Resize and position your workspace, then enable always-on-top when you want the layer to stay within reach.
Private by design
Page URLs, titles, form contents, and license keys are excluded from app logs. Clear browser data from settings whenever you choose.
Simple from first launch
Three steps to your workspace.
ClearLayer starts on a blank page. Choose the websites you want to open and arrange the workspace around your task.
Activate once
Enter the lifetime license key delivered after purchase. One key activates one Windows computer.
Enter any URL
Open websites, web apps, and AI tools of your choice, subject to their own terms and your local rules.
Tune the layer
Choose one or two panels, opacity, topmost behavior, and whether capture exclusion is enabled.

Responsible use is required
Use ClearLayer only for lawful, authorized purposes. You are responsible for respecting applicable laws, privacy requirements, workplace or education policies, intellectual-property rights, and third-party website terms.
Capture exclusion is a window-management privacy feature, not permission to conceal prohibited activity or record, access, or share content without authorization.
Questions, answered
Before you buy.
Can I open ChatGPT or another AI tool?
Yes. You can enter the URL of an AI tool or other website you choose. ClearLayer is not affiliated with those services, and their terms, accounts, fees, and policies still apply.
What does capture exclusion support?
ClearLayer requests the supported Windows capture-exclusion mode. Full-window omission requires Windows 10 version 2004 or later, or Windows 11. Results vary by graphics configuration, capture tool, and remote session; other capture paths and physical cameras are not covered by a guarantee. Test your own setup.
Can I use my license on two computers?
Not at the same time. One purchase permits one active computer. Use the in-app deactivation control before activating a replacement computer. Contact support to request a review if the old computer is unavailable.
Does the app remember the sites I opened?
The workspace starts on a blank page and does not restore previous URLs. The WebView2 engine can still store normal browser data such as cookies; ClearLayer provides a setting to clear its browser profile.
Is the installer signed?
The current installer is unsigned, so Windows may show an unverified-publisher or reputation warning. Check the publisher information and file hash supplied with your download before installing.
